LOOP OPT

This Six-day ride goes around the southern tip of Lake Michigan and follows USBR 35 while in Michigan, USBR 36 while in Indiana, and USBR 36/37 while in IllinoisIn Wisconsin there is no official USBRS, so we follow recommendations of OSM Cycle We take the ferry from Milwaukee to Muskegon.  Average daily distances are about 60 miles.  The ride is on many rails to trails as is fairly flat.

The evening stays are in moderately priced motels.

This option most likely is supported with a SAG vehicle and does not include non-riding guests.  A minimum of four bicyclists is necessary to make SAGGING feasible.

After the ride, bicyclists would spend one or two days touring Chicago, either staying downtown or commuting on the Shore Shore train.
